KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Sharmila Farooqi on Saturday visited various SSC examination centers of Karachi along with the staff of the Board of Secondary Education on the occasion of the second paper of the ninth grade.
Speaking on the occasion, she appreciated the steps taken by the Sindh government to improve the quality of education of students. Sharmila said that the educational activities of children had been affected due to the corona pandemic, but owing to timely action of Sindh government, the quality of education in Sindh had been improved significantly.
The PPP leader further said that the mission of Shaheed Bibi was also to improve the quality of education. “It is the first priority of the PPP that every child of the country should be educated. The Sindh government has adopted a policy of nine compromises on education standard in educational institutions of the country. Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has the same vision that there should be uniform quality of education in the country, she concluded.
