Muzaffarabad: Rallies and public gatherings were held across Azad Jammu and Kashmir to express solidarity with the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, a rally titled Shukriya Pakistan (Thank You, Pakistan) was held in Mirpur to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event was organized under the joint banner of Jammu Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement, Muhajireen Ittehad Forum, and Jamaat-e-Islami Youth Azad Kashmir.
The rally was led by Vice Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement, Qazi Imran, along with Jamaat-e-Islami Mirpur Ameer Maulana Atiqur Rehman, President of Muhajireen Ittehad Forum Mirpur Zaheer Jarral, Bashir Ahmed Shagu, Khawaja Ayaz, Ijaz Mir, Shabbir Ahmed Chichi, Sardar Khurshid, and other leaders.
Addressing the rally, the leaders expressed gratitude to the government, armed forces, and people of Pakistan for dedicating February 5 to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Government Boys Primary School Refugee Camp Gulpur, in collaboration with Pir Panjal Freedom Movement, organized a Kashmir Solidarity Conference. The ceremony brought together people from various walks of life to support the Kashmiri people’s struggle for self-determination.
Similar rallies were held in Bagh, Rawalakot, Kotil, and other areas of Azad Kashmir.
Speakers reaffirmed their commitment to the Kashmiri freedom struggle, vowing to continue their fight until the last Indian soldier leaves the occupied territory. They emphasized the unity between Pakistanis and Kashmiris, stating that no force can break this bond.
