Significant drop in gold prices, silver also cheaper

The gold and silver markets in Pakistan have witnessed a significant decrease in prices today, indicating a notable shift in the country’s financial landscape.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Bazaar has reported a sharp decline in gold prices, resulting in the per tola gold price decreasing by 10,400 rupees to 432,236 rupees. This decrease is also reflected in the price of 10 grams of gold, which has fallen by 9,360 rupees to a new rate of 368,985 rupees.

This downward trend is not confined to the local market, as gold prices have also seen a significant decline internationally. The global price of gold per ounce has decreased by 104 dollars, now standing at 4,098 dollars.

Silver has also followed this downward trend. The per tola price of silver has decreased by 487 rupees, bringing it down to 6,664 rupees.

This drop in precious metal prices could affect local and international investors, as well as jewelry markets, potentially leading to changes in purchasing behavior and market strategies.
