Precious metals witnessed a significant increase in local and international markets on Saturday, with a notable rise in gold prices within Pakistan.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by 2,300 rupees to 493,162 rupees. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by 1,971 rupees to 422,806 rupees.
For 22-karat gold, the price of 10 grams increased by 1,807 rupees, raising its market value to 387,586 rupees.
Globally, the prices of the yellow metal also continued to climb, with the international gold price increasing by 23 US dollars to 4,708 US dollars per ounce.
Silver also showed strength, as the price of 24-karat silver per tola in Pakistan increased by 92 rupees to 8,049 rupees.
In the local bullion market, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver increased by 79 rupees to 6,900 rupees.
The international silver market also showed a positive trend, with the commodity’s price increasing by 0.92 US dollars to 75.65 US dollars.
