Sindh Culture Day is a message of brotherhood: Governor

KARACHI:Sindh Governor Imran Ismail in his message on the Sindh Culture Day said Sunday that Sindhi culture is a beautiful blend of ancient Indus and Islamic civilizations.

He said that today is a day of love for one’s own culture and respect for the culture of others. He said that Sindh Culture Day is a message of harmony and brotherhood. This day is celebrated on the first Sunday of December. Meanwhile, the Sindh Governor Imran addressed the Workers Convention on the occasion of his visit to Umerkot.

Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that the case of Sindh would be fought in full force and he himself would present the case of Sindh before Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that people of Sindh were fully prepared to welcome Imran Khan.

The governor said that in 2023, the change would also take place in Sindh. The reckoning will begin and the oppressors will have no place to hide their heads. He said that the government employees of Sindh should not become personal employees of anyone, adding they should refrain from abusing the people.

The Sindh governor urged the police department to stop the atrocities being perpetrated on the people of Sindh and come forwarded to realize their responsibilities and solve the problems of the people of Sindh besides giving them full support.

The Governor Sindh quoted Hesco as saying that Hesco is constantly committing atrocities in Sindh, it is not Hesco’s job to see who belongs to which party. He further said that transformers were not being provided to those who needed it but were being provided at the behest of certain people.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Syed Mustafa Kamal’s younger brother Syed Mustafa Jamal. He prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and elevation of ranks and patience of his family.
