Sindh Governor arrives at Mazar-e-Quaid, lays floral wreath, offers Fateha, welcomed by Chief Minister

Sindh Governor Muhammad Nihal Hashmi arrived at Mazar-e-Quaid to pay homage on Pakistan Day, where he was received by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah along with his cabinet. Provincial ministers, Chief Secretary, IG Sindh, and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

The Sindh Governor laid a floral wreath at the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation and offered Fateha. He offered special prayers for the progress, stability, and prosperity of the country and the nation and recorded his impressions in the visitors’ book.

Sindh Governor Muhammad Nihal Hashmi clarified that the government cannot interfere in cases pending in the courts, stressing the constitutional nature of his office as opposed to the chief minister’s role of public representation.

The governor expressed these views while talking to the media during his visit to Mazar-e-Quaid on Pakistan Day.

Earlier, upon his arrival at the mausoleum, Governor Hashmi was received by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, along with members of his cabinet. The Chief Secretary, IG Sindh, and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

In a formal ceremony, the governor laid a floral wreath at the mausoleum of the nation’s founder, offered Fateha, and recorded his impressions in the visitors’ book. He offered special prayers for the stability, progress, and prosperity of the country.

Addressing the media, Governor Hashmi said that the foundation laid by the nation’s elders guides the way to the destination, and he emphasized the need for economic and political stability. He expressed his determination to embark on a journey to take Pakistan to new heights of development by 2040.

“Our responsibility is not to create chaos in politics but to strengthen Pakistan,” he stressed, adding that he was proud of his association with the party of the nation’s founder and Nawaz Sharif.

He conveyed the Prime Minister’s directive to play a full role in the development of Sindh and assured that no stone would be left unturned for the prosperity of the province. He also recalled that the Sindh Assembly was the first to pass a resolution in favor of the creation of Pakistan.

The Governor concluded his remarks with a prayer that the homeland may always remain safe and that happiness may come to the homes of its people.
