Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has praised the country’s security forces for killing 11 alleged terrorists in North Waziristan, describing the success as the result of intelligence-based operations aimed at, in his words, thwarting an “Indian-sponsored insurgency.”
In a statement issued on Saturday, the governor stressed that the militants associated with this foreign-backed insurgency had created immense difficulties for the innocent civilian population and had made their lives miserable.
Mr. Tessori paid tribute to the security personnel, calling their achievement a major success in the ongoing fight against subversive elements.
He emphasized the government’s resolve, affirming that such counter-terrorism operations will continue until the complete elimination of all militant elements from the region.
