KARACHI:Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) has established 50-bed isolation ward for coronavirus patients, where mild to moderate patients will be admitted.
Spokesperson SIUT informed that Corona Clinic was established at SIUT on 18th March and since then over 3000 people have been screened for Corona virus while about 300 have been screened in the last two days.
He further informed that several patients came to the clinic who are in need of urgent admission, for whom SIUT had already established a Corona ICU where these patients are being treated. The ICU will treat serious cases who will need ventilator.
