QUETTA: District Administration, Quetta’s Price Control Committee arrested six profiteers while warnings were issued to several others in a crackdown launched against profiteering under the supervision of Special Magistrate, Sariab in Sariab Sub Division area of district Quetta on Saturday.
According to detail, staff of District Price Control Committee, Quetta under the supervision of Masood Bughti, Special Magistrate, Sariab arrested ten profiteers during a crackdown launched against profiteering in Sariab Sub Division area of Quetta. Warning to several owners of different shops were also issued not to defy the price control list issued by the district administration for selling commodities of daily usage.
Talking to media, Special Magistrate, Sariab, Masood Bughti on the occasion said that different teams of district administration were conducting operations against profiteers in different areas of Sariab Division, Quetta to see whether price list issued by the district administration Quetta was being adhered to or not, adding that no one would be allowed to add to the miseries of people through artificial inflation.
