Social Leader Awarded ‘Fakhr-e-Pakistan’ for Effective Struggle for Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s Release

Prominent social figure Hafiz Imam Hussain Hamdam has been honored with the “Fakhr-e-Pakistan” Award for his continuous and courageous struggle for the release of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui. The award was presented to him by Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan at a volunteer convention organized by Aafia Movement Pakistan International.

Addressing the gathering, Senator Khan described Hamdam’s efforts as a commendable and powerful voice for the rights of the oppressed. He said that individuals who stand up for human rights, rising above personal interests, are a significant asset to the country.

In his award acceptance speech, Hafiz Imam Hussain Hamdam expressed his joy and gratitude, pledging to continue his campaign for Dr. Aafia’s freedom for the rest of his life. He thanked the Chairperson of Aafia Movement Pakistan, Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui, and resolved to raise his voice for all the oppressed.

The ceremony was attended by various political, social, and religious figures, who congratulated Hamdam on receiving the award and unanimously appreciated his sincere services for the cause.
