Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Musarrat Jamshed Cheema has said that protection of legal principles and constitutional authority is essential for the stability of any country, otherwise societies are destroyed without the supremacy of the Constitution and law. Referring to recent court decisions as attempts to intimidate, she emphasized that PTI’s struggle for the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law is actually a fight for the protection of Pakistan’s future.
Musarrat Cheema claimed that legal proceedings are being carried out due to fear of the events of August 5th. She accused the government of trying to suppress dissent and prevent the opposition from speaking in the assemblies. She said that there is no example in the world of the level of animosity being directed against PTI.
The PTI leader declared that the current rulers want to extend their tenure through injustice and oppression, but this “rotten system” will soon collapse due to its incompetence.
