SPO in collaboration with Human Rights and Minority Affairs Department

Lahore, November 29, 2019 (PPI-OT): Government of Punjab organized a two days training for Police Officials on Friendly role of Police and protection of Human Rights of Citizens especially vulnerable section of society. 2 days training was started by Secretary Human Rights and Minority affairs department Tariq Mehmood, and later proceed by Deputy Secretary HR and MA department, Muhammad Yousaf and SP admin Chung Police Centre Mr Farhat Abbas.

Totally 30 Police Officials of rank Inspector and Sub-inspector attended the training workshop. Mr Shahnawaz Khan (Regional Coordinator SPO Lahore), Muhammad Khalid (Human Rights Commission of Pakistan) moderated different sessions, in which Participants were trained on UDHR, Human Rights clauses in Constitution of Pakistan, role of Police department in Protection of human rights religious minorities and marginalized sections of the society.
