Strict ban on mobile phones in 11th and 12th grade examinations

A strict ban has been imposed on mobile phones and all electronic material for the upcoming HSSC 11th and 12th grade annual examinations 2026 in 123 examination centers of Shaheed Benazirabad Division. This strict measure, which will be enforced from April 21 to May 5, has been taken by Commissioner Shahmeer Khan Bhutto with the enforcement of Section 144, aiming to ensure the peaceful conduct of examinations and prevent malpractice.

The notification issued today by the Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Division confirmed that Section 144 will remain in force during the examination period. This legal provision restricts public gatherings and movement, thereby establishing a controlled environment around specific examination centers.

The decision to enforce these restrictions was made following the recommendation of Chairman Education Board Shaheed Benazirabad, Dr. Asif Ali Memon. Its primary objective is to prevent incidents of cheating during the important annual examinations.

In addition to the ban on handheld devices, entry into examination halls is strictly prohibited for any individual who is not directly a candidate or part of the duty staff. Furthermore, the operation of photocopy machines near examination centers has also been banned.

Authorities have warned that legal action will be initiated against anyone violating these instructions.
