Islamabad, August 09, 2021 (PPI-OT):Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed says subversive activities of India, NDS and Israel against national security of Pakistan demands unity in the nation. Addressing a presser in Islamabad on Monday, the minister said opposition is unaware of changing situation of the region.
The Minister said those who are trying to create chaos will surely fail in their designs. Commenting on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said any hurdle in CPEC will not be accepted. The interior minister said the whole nation is united on CPEC and Kashmir issue.
Talking about the Islamabad police performance, Sheikh Rashid said 2000 more police men would be inducted in the department. He said IG Islamabad has been asked to immediately install 190 cameras in the city and service of Rescue 1122 would also be started soon to facilitate the dwellers.
Responding to a question about the Afghan ambassador’s daughter issue, he said the Kabul’s investigation team went back yesterday and full cooperation was extended to them. He told the reporters that 95 percent work has been completed on Pak-Afghan international border.
