(City): Quetta journalists call on CM

Quetta:A delegation of senior journalists led by Raza-ur-Rehman, President Quetta Press Club and Ayub Tareen, President, Balochistan Union of Journalists called on Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan in Assembly Chamber on Monday. The delegation invited Chief Minister Balochistan to grace the opening ceremony of the events to be arranged in connection with Golden Jubilee of Quetta Press Club as Chief Guest. Expressing pleasure over the arrangement of Golden Jubilee events of Quetta Press Club, Jam Kamal Khan accepted the invitation.

(Health): Quackery on the rise in city’s suburban areas

Karachi:Score of quacks, non-technical paramedics and unskilled midwives are openly running private hospitals, medical or dental clinics and maternity homes throughout Karachi, especially in suburban area of the city due to poor monitoring system of Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) and Sindh health department, it was learned on Sunday. An official at Sindh Health Department told PPI that SHCC had failed devise a comprehensive strategy to control illegal practices of quacks operating in Karachi as old and suburban areas of the city had become hub of illegal dental or medical clinics and maternity homes. (Crime): FIR registered against protesting lawlessness

Shikarpur: Another FIR was registered against citizens at Newfaujdari police station who were protesting against lawlessness here in Shikarpur on Saturday. Newfaujdari police have registered the FIR against 25-30 persons under 341-147-148 PPC on 05th September 2020 on behalf state when the citizens were protesting against the police for non-recovery of their looted property including motorbikes.
