ISLAMABAD:Information Minister Shibli Faraz has said Pakistan will be built as per the ideals of Allama Iqbal under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.   In his tweet on Monday, he said the entire nation today pays tribute to Allama Iqbal who was a great poet, philosopher and thinker.   He said Iqbal's concept of 'Khudi' gave a compelling and sane message to the young generation to create their own world instead of relying on others.

Minister: (Govt constitutes committee to merge irrelevant departments: Shibli)

ISLAMABAD:Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has said the Prime Minister has taken strict notice of the top vacant posts in various ministries and divisions.   Talking to a private news channel, he said the federal cabinet had decided in its last meeting to complete the process of appointments on these positions within ninety days.   Shibli Faraz said government has constituted a restructuring committee headed by Dr Ishrat Hussain for merging irrelevant departments in order to improve overall efficiency of the government institutions.

Minister: (None will be allowed to speak against state institutions: Shibli)

ISLAMABAD:Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has said the government will not allow anyone to give statements against the state institutions and damage the country's image.   Addressing a news conference here on Saturday, he said certain elements from opposition parties have spoken against the state institutions for securing their vested interests.   He said former Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq's anti-state statement provided the Indian media an opportunity to unleash propaganda against Pakistan.   He said the elements, which are harming the country, will be held accountable, and in this regard, legal options are being deliberated upon.   The Minister said the PDM is following the narrative of destabilizing the country....
