Teachers’ Training Workshop Held at Green School Gulshan-e-Hadeed in Collaboration with Beaconhouse

Highlighting the indispensable need for continuous professional development for teachers, a collaborative initiative was undertaken to equip educators with modern teaching skills, emphasizing that without such training, teachers cannot adequately fulfill their educational roles.

Green School System Gulshan-e-Hadeed organized a one-day teacher training program today in collaboration with Beaconhouse School System Steel Town Branch.

The workshop was led by Beaconhouse’s Master Trainer Ms. Nighat Salman, who provided the participating teachers with comprehensive instructions on modern teaching methods.

During the seminar, Ms. Salman covered key topics such as mental focus, positive self-talk, curriculum development, and the Montessori method. Other topics included the philosophy of early education, play-based learning processes, and educational assessment strategies.

She emphasized that mental peace and nurturing a child’s natural abilities are fundamental to early education, playing a crucial role in fostering emotional development and self-confidence. She further explained that incorporating play into education makes the learning process enjoyable and is key to a child’s overall development.

Executive Director of Green School System Dr. Abdul Rehman Jiskani said that continuous professional training for teachers is essential to meet the demands of the modern era. He thanked Ms. Nusrat Jokhio, Head of Beaconhouse School System, Steel Town, for providing the training opportunity.

The participating teachers showed great enthusiasm and expressed their commitment to implementing the acquired skills in their teaching practices.

At the end of the event, Dr. Jiskani thanked both Ms. Jokhio and Ms. Salman and expressed hope for collaboration on similar beneficial training programs in the future.
