Temperature Rise, Hot and Dry Spell Predicted Across Most Parts of Country

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a rise in temperature and a hot and dry spell across most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

The PMD has advised citizens to take precautionary measures to protect themselves from extreme heat.

While temperatures will remain high in most parts of Pakistan, different weather conditions are expected in Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas. Cloudy skies and chances of rain with thunderstorms are expected in these areas during the evening and night.

This morning, temperatures varied across major cities. Islamabad recorded 26 degrees Celsius, while both Lahore and Karachi recorded 27 degrees Celsius. Peshawar recorded the highest temperature amongst the listed cities at 29 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates.
