According to the latest forecast issued today by the Meteorological Department, a weather system bringing rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms is likely to affect large areas of the country during the next 24 hours.
The forecast indicates that most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, the federal capital Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir are likely to experience these adverse weather conditions.
Additionally, during the same period, scattered rain with thunderstorms is also forecasted for some places in northeastern Balochistan and southern Punjab.
