Thunderstorms accompanied by hail and lightning are expected in various parts of the country, while the meteorological department has forecast significant rainfall in Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
According to the latest forecast issued today, besides the areas expecting hail, there is also a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in the provinces of Balochistan, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The latest weather update also includes the morning temperatures of the country’s major urban centers. The temperature in the capital, Islamabad, was recorded at seventeen degrees Celsius.
There was a significant difference in temperatures across various regions, with Karachi recording the highest morning temperature at twenty-four degrees Celsius, while the hill station of Murree recorded the lowest at seven degrees Celsius.
Other recorded temperatures included twenty-one in Lahore, nineteen in Peshawar, fourteen in Muzaffarabad, and ten degrees Celsius in both Quetta and Gilgit.
