Quetta: President Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ghulam Farooq Khan Khilji, Senior Vice President Badruddin Kakar and Vice President Dawood Khan Khilji demanded of the authorities to open Pak-Afghan border in accordance with the guidelines of World Health Organization.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, they said the closure of Pak-Afghan border at Chaman has brought commerce, industries and service based industries of the province to the verge of destruction, closing thereby all means of livelihood for the residents of District Killa Abdullah and its adjoining areas.
They called on authorities to take steps for bringing back owners and drivers of goods’ vehicles stranded in Afghanistan. They demanded of the authorities to open Pak-Afghan border forthwith.
