Key government officials in Sindh are currently embarking on an effective training program designed to enhance their capabilities on constitutional governance and the infrastructure of local councils, a key step for effective public administration.
Deputy Director Elections, Provincial Election Commissioner (PEC) Office, Niaz Ahmed, chaired a comprehensive interactive session today as part of the two-week training course.
The programme targets Sindh Council of Government Officers, specifically those in basic pay scales BS-16 and BS-17, providing them with in-depth knowledge on the constitution and composition of various councils.
This initiative, aimed at enhancing the professional capabilities of civil servants, was officially communicated by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
