LASBELLA:Transporters of the province have called on authorities to shift the check post of Pakistan Coast Guard Khhari district Lasbella to the maritime zones of the province so that the said force could do the job it was established for.

These views were expressed by transporter Haji Dad Muhammad Achakzai and other transporters after blocking Quetta-Karachi main highway near Gadani area of district Labella in Balochistan province on Sunday against the high handedness of Pakistan Coast Guard Khari Check-post, District Lasbella.

On the occasions, Haji Dad Muhammad Achakzai, who is the owner of Al-Mehmood Coach Company, set ablaze the passenger coach of Al-Mehmood Coach Company as a protest against the high handedness of Pakistan Coast Guard, Khari check Post. He said that anti-smuggling authority had been vested in Pakistan Customs, but the officials of Pakistan Coast Gurad had made the lives of the people, particularly transporters, miserable.

He said that with the exception of transport, no facility had been provided to the people of the province to earn their livelihood. Achakzai called on Corps Commander, Southern Command, Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and other authorities to shift the check post of Pakistan Coat Guard, Khari to the maritime zones of the province so that the said force could do the job it was established for.
