KARACHI:A senior staff nurse and dispenser have been tested positive for the coronavirus in two major hospitals of Karachi on Wednesday.
A senior staff nurse of National Institute of Child Health (NICH) and Maintenance and Transport Section In-Charge of Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) have been tested positive for the COVID-19.
Both patients have been shifted to quarantine facility for further treatment. The NICH and CHK administration have started screening of other staff after reporting cases.
Several doctors, nurses and paramedics have been tested positive for the COVID in Sindh province. A practicing doctor had died in Karachi so far.
