LAHORE: Two people were gunned down in Lahore on Saturday in what appeared to be a target killing incident.
According to the police, the two persons were travelling in a car when they were targeted by unidentified gunmen in Mohlanwal Chowk in Sundar area of Lahore. Both received severe bullet injuries and died.
The assailants fled to unknown destination after swift operation. The panic gripped the area soon after the incident. The also gathered at the site of the incident. A heavy contingent of police rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area. They also started collecting evidence. The bodies were shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
