Kohlu: Two levies personnel were killed and three others, including Risaldar Levies Force, Kohlu, sustained injuries after vehicle of Balochistan Levies Force, Kohlu was targeted by a land mine in Union Council Janat Ali, Tehsil Kahan area of district Kohlu of Balochistan province on Monday.
According to levies, vehicle of levies force, Kohlu was struck by a land mine in Janat Ali area of Tehsil Kahan in District Kohlu, resultantly, two levies personnel were killed and three other levies personnel, including Risaldar Levies Force, Kohlu, sustained injuries.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, while condemning the land mine explosion on the vehicle of security forces in Janat Ali area Tehsil Kahan of district Kohlu, has expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of two levies personnel and injuring others in the act of terrorism.
In a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Monday, he said that the acts of terrorism could not scare the security forces, adding that people of Balochistan and security forces were united and had vowed to root out terrorism. He prayed that may Almighty Allah rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the losses with equanimity. It is worth mentioning that the injured levies personnel were shifted to Quetta via helicopter.
Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to provide the best medical facilities to the Kohlu’s land mine blast. Separately, levies jawan sustained injuries after levies check post came under attack by unidentified gunmen in Killi Suhbat Khan area in Chaman, near Pak-Afghan border. The injured was rushed to Chaman hospital where after providing initial treatment, he was referred to Quetta for further treatment at Combined Military Hospital, Quetta.
