The government plans to prepare two million young individuals over the next three years to effectively respond to emergency situations, according to the Chairman of the Prime Minister”s Youth Programme.

Speaking at an event in the capital, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan today announced the formation of a National Volunteers Corps. He stated this new body is intended to engage the nation”s youth in initiatives aimed at dealing with the effects of climate change.

The chairman also reiterated the administration”s broader commitment to the full empowerment of young people across the country.
