Two more matches were decided in the SM Adil Zone IV Inter-Club Cricket Tournament organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi Zone IV. On Tuesday, Ihsanullah Khan scored a magnificent century to lead Gulzar Cricket Club to a decisive 7-wicket victory over Eleven Star Cricket Club in the ongoing SM Adil Zone Four Inter-Club Cricket Tournament.
In a day filled with outstanding performances, Young Star Cricket Club also secured a comfortable 8-wicket victory against Qaidabad Gymkhana in another match of the tournament organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi Zone Four.
At Pak Star Ground, Eleven Star Cricket Club was all out for 202 runs, setting a target of 203. Ayaz-ur-Rehman was the top scorer with 65 runs, while Anas Faheem scored 26 and Ubaid-ur-Rehman scored 23. For Gulzar CC, Bilal Mirza showed an excellent performance with 4 wickets for 42 runs, while Fahad Tariq took 3 wickets.
In reply, Gulzar Cricket Club’s chase was highlighted by Ihsanullah Khan’s brilliant innings of 130 runs, which included 15 fours and 6 sixes. His performance ensured his team reached the target for the loss of only 3 wickets, with Hamza adding 29 runs.
In the second match at Landhi Gymkhana Ground, Qaidabad Gymkhana was out for 169 runs. Imdad Hussain (57) and Abdul Qadir (56) anchored the innings with crucial half-centuries. For Young Star Cricket Club, Ahad Ali delivered a devastating bowling spell, taking 4 wickets for just 27 runs, while Huzaifa Sajid took 3 wickets for 29 runs.
Young Star Cricket Club chased the target with ease, scoring 173 for the loss of only 2 wickets. The successful chase was anchored by Abdul Rehman (59) and Saleh Khan (58).
For their brilliant performances, Ihsanullah Khan of Gulzar Cricket Club and Ahad Ali of Young Star Cricket Club were awarded the Man of the Match in their respective encounters.
