OKARA :Two robbers were killed in an alleged police encounter in Okara, police said Tuesday. According to report, the police had an encounter with the robbers near head Kharl Kalan in the jurisdiction of Hujra Shah Muqim police station. the encounter, the cops succeeded to overpower the two robbers.
However, the two accomplices of detainees managed to flee from the crime scene while search-operation has been launched to arrest them, police said. The police say that illegal weapons and a motorcycle have also been recovered from the robbers.
