Two soldiers martyred in DI Khan operation

RAWALPINDI: Two Pakistani soldiers Saturday were martyred when fire exchange took place between troops and terrorists in general area of Darazinda, District Dera Ismail Khan.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorist’s location. However, during an intense exchange of fire, Naik Sajid Hussain (age 33 years, resident of Khushab) and Sepoy Muhammad Israr (age 26 years, resident of Attock) having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat. Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
