A woman was shot dead by her uncle in Babershur area of Pasni on Sunday.

According to a police report, Sabir Saleem, the accused, shot his niece, the daughter of Gundu, with a 9MM pistol while she was asleep.

The incident occurred in Gwadar district of Balochistan, and family sources confirmed the victim was asleep at the time of the attack. Following the shooting, the body was transported to the Pasni hospital, where necessary medico-legal procedures were completed.

The motive behind the killing remains unclear, with investigations ongoing at the time of filing this report.
