A young man was killed and his elder brother was injured in a tragic road accident that occurred near Akhtarabad stop on the main GT Road on Wednesday.
According to information received from Rescue 1122, the two brothers were riding a motorcycle when they were hit by an unidentified vehicle, resulting in serious consequences for both riders.
Rescue sources identified the deceased as approximately 22-year-old Zameer son of Yasin. His injured brother was named as approximately 27-year-old Tanveer son of Yasin. Both individuals were residents of the 50/3-R area.
After the collision, the body of the deceased young man and his injured brother were immediately shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Renala by the emergency services.
According to reports, a state of grief and sorrow has engulfed the local population following this fatal incident.
