The University of Turbat (UoT) is bolstering its students’ capabilities by providing them with cutting-edge technology, digital proficiency, and access to emerging prospects, thanks to the backing of federal and provincial administrations.
The Directorate of Student Affairs conducted two informative gatherings on September 22, 2025, focusing on the Young Peace and Development Corps (YPDC) and the Youth Digital Hub (YDH) under the Uraan Pakistan Program. Numerous pupils from various academic departments attended these assemblies.
In the initial assembly, YPDC Turbat University Chapter representatives, including President Mir Zangi, Vice President Wasima, General Secretary Fatima Nazir, Media Relations Officer Bakhtiar Rind, and Coordinator Musaddiq, elucidated the YPDC”s aims and vision.
Director Student Affairs, Chakar Hyder, addressed the attendees, stating that the formation of the YPDC Turbat University Chapter seeks to actively involve scholars in peacebuilding and socio-economic advancement programs, along with fostering their engagement in policy formulation at regional and national levels.
Director Public Relations, Ijaz Ahmed, emphasized that the university leadership, under Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan”s guidance, is dedicated to further reinforcing the Directorate of Student Affairs to guarantee that undergraduates have access to optimal resources and prospects.
YPDC Turbat University Chapter cabinet representatives also underscored the Uraan Pakistan initiative”s Five Es Framework, concentrating on Export, Environment and Climate Change, Energy, e-Pakistan, and Equity and Empowerment. They shared specifics regarding YPDC enrollment procedures and reiterated their dedication to expediting the recruitment drive.
In the subsequent assembly, pupils were acquainted with the YDH and instructed on downloading, registering, and utilizing the mobile application. The YDH app offers adolescents convenient and prompt access to prospects such as employment, financial aid, apprenticeships, and grants aligned with their competencies and preferences.
Both gatherings concluded with a commitment from UoT undergraduates to maintain a proactive role in shaping Pakistan’s promising future, leadership, and national progress.
