US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said that the U.N. Security Council is united in seeking a final, verified denuclearization of North Korea.
Speaking to reporters after briefing the 15-member Council, Pompeo said that President Donald Trump remains upbeat about the prospects for denuclearization.
He said full enforcement of economic sanctions is key for North Korean denuclearization.
