MQM-Pakistan Chairman Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized on Pakistan Day that the people of urban Sindh have been deprived of their legitimate rights, terming the fair distribution of resources and the immediate resolution of the region’s problems as indispensable for national strength.
Congratulating the nation today, the MQM-Pakistan leader termed March 23 as a significant milestone in the political struggle of the subcontinent’s Muslims.
He said that the Lahore Resolution presented a clear vision for the establishment of a separate homeland, and also said that the creation of Pakistan is the fruit of the timeless sacrifices of past generations.
Dr. Siddiqui also stressed the need to be aware of the challenges facing the country and the importance of promoting national unity.
He highlighted that urban Sindh, including Karachi, has always played a vital role in the country’s economy and development.
He concluded that the protection of the fundamental rights of all citizens is the ultimate guarantee of a strong Pakistan.
