Mayor Abdul Rauf Ghori, along with Municipal Commissioner Anis Rehman Sial and Town Chairman Khadim Ali Shah Shazil, visited several Imambargahs and mourning sites such as Haideri Imambargah, Dargah Makhan Shah, and Azakhana Zahra in Mirpur Khas to improve facilities for the mourners of Muharram. The purpose of this visit was to ensure effective arrangements for the upcoming Muharram.
The Mayor reviewed basic services such as cleanliness, drainage, and street lighting around these important religious sites. He instructed the municipal team to prioritize these aspects, especially highlighting the importance of a special cleanliness campaign during the routes of mourning processions.
Mayor Ghori emphasized the immediate need to address sewage and drainage issues to provide a smooth experience for the participants. The administrators of the religious sites expressed satisfaction with the current preparations and appreciated their commitment to maintaining these standards during Muharram.
