Srinagar, May 30, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, has impressed upon the United Nations and all international and local human rights organizations to take serious notice of the worst human rights violations perpetrated by the Indian troops in the territory.
Mukhtar Ahmed Waza while addressing mourners at the residence of a martyred youth, Bilal Ahmed Ganai, in Lajora area of Pulwama demanded of the international community to take necessary measures to save the Kashmiri people from the Indian brutalities. He said that the people of Kashmir would never forget the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people. Bilal Ahmed Ganai was recently killed in the firing by the Indian troops in Kakapora area of the district.
Mukhtar Waza said, “Unless the draconian laws like Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) are not abolished, the killing of Kashmiris will continue and we will keep losing our young and old, men and women.”
