We will raise our voice strongly on every forum to solve public issues: PML-F

Sardar Abdul Rahim, General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Sindh, expressed grave concern over the increasing presence of illegal drugs across the province, calling it a serious threat to the younger generation, and said that they will raise their voice strongly on every forum to solve public issues. He simultaneously accused the current authorities of prioritizing personal gain and corruption over resolving public issues, and stated that Karachi will not be left alone.

Speaking at a dinner ceremony held in honor of the newly elected president of Functional Muslim League Karachi Division, Anwar Azeem Advocate, Mr. Rahim condemned the government’s perceived inaction against drug sales. He pointed out that these illegal activities are openly taking place from educational institutions to local neighborhoods, thus endangering the future prospects of the youth.

The PML-F leader further criticized governmental incompetence, which he claimed led to the destruction of vital sectors such as health, education, agriculture, irrigation, and especially Karachi’s urban infrastructure. As a result of this neglect, citizens have been deprived of basic facilities.

Mr. Rahim resolved that every available forum would be fully utilized to address the challenges of the public.

Referring to history, Sardar Abdul Rahim lauded the sacrifices of the Hurs during the 1965 war, acknowledging their effective guerrilla tactics against the enemy. He regretted that after independence, power seemingly fell into the hands of those who could not make such sacrifices.

He stated that strengthening Pir Pagara’s leadership offers the only viable solution to the country’s current plight. Mr. Rahim outlined the core agenda of PML-F, which includes providing basic facilities, promoting political stability, and guiding Pakistan towards progress and prosperity.

Describing Pir Pagara as a simple and grassroots leader, Sardar Abdul Rahim highlighted his particular focus on girls’ education. He also mentioned PML-F’s growing organizational strength in Karachi, where preparations are underway for vigorous participation in the upcoming local elections.

Party workers were urged to promote the slogan “United Sindh, Strong Pakistan” and to fully inform the public about the party’s manifesto.

Other esteemed speakers at the event included Anwar Azeem Advocate, Jamshed Khan, Naeem Sajjad, Shaheen Khan Advocate, Chaudhry Tanveer, Allahyar Baloch, Ghulam Qadir Leghari, and Adeel Warsi. Prominent figures from the showbiz industry such as Muhammad Hanif Khan, Javed Zaman, Tanzila Khurram, Kunwar Wajahat, and Abdul Qadir Shar were also present at the event.
