QUETTA:Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Chief Minister Balochistan, has said that work on a comprehensive development program was in progress for the development of Quetta city, adding that work on all development projects under Quetta Development Package, which had been halted by the previous provincial government, had been started afresh.

These views were expressed by him while talking to Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Chairman, Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) who called on him here on Tuesday.

Bizenjo said that handsome amount of funds had been released to Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) and Balochistan-WASA for addressing the issues of cleanliness and water in the city, adding that development of Quetta and its adjoining areas would be prioritized in the next fiscal budget. On the occasion, Nawab Muhammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai, senior leader of PKMAP was also present.
