After one and a half years of continuous efforts, clear results of measures to improve air quality and strengthen resilience against climate change have begun to appear in Punjab, which is a significant breakthrough in the province’s environmental strategy.
Alongside this, in an economic development, according to official information today, the region has also successfully established a comprehensive value chain in its fisheries and aquaculture industry to support local producers.
This integrated system now covers all aspects of the sector, including the establishment of hatcheries, feed mills, and processing plants, which have been further strengthened through specialized extension services.
To further develop this sector, the government has pledged to equip local farmers with modern resources.
Under this support package, the agricultural community will be provided access to government-sponsored research, modern laboratories, new equipment, and new technologies.
