World asked to hold India accountable for war crimes in IIOJK 

Srinagar, September 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement (JKPRM) has urged world human rights organizations to hold India accountable for war crimes perpetrated by Indian forces’ personnel in the territory.

Besides Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement Vice Chairman Ajazul Haq and General Secretary Dr Musaib, Muslim Conference chairman Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League acting Chairman Abdul Ahad Parra and recently released Muslim League Leader Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi visited Bandipora and expressed solidarity with Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Ameer Hamza and prayed to his wife who was passed away few months when the Ameer Hamza was illegally facing detention. Ameer Hamza and Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi were recently released from their illegal detentions.

Speaking on the occasion, they urged India to release all Hurriyat leaders and youth languishing in different jails. They reiterated to continue the ongoing freedom struggle despite the ongoing brutalities by Indian forces. The expressed serious concern over the worst situation in Kashmir and said that since 5th August, 2019, massive human rights violations besides lockdown and military siege had been observed in Jammu and Kashmir. People are questioned and harassed in police stations and are illegally detained, they said.

The leaders said the Indian government is now openly pursuing its nefarious agenda to change demography of Jammu and Kashmir and urged the world community to come forward and resolve the Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions.
