Young girls can play an active role to protect nature: Romina Khursheed Alam Parliamentary Secretary for Climate Change

Islamabad, March 06, 2018 (PPI-OT): After getting half way through successful implementation of “Ghar ghar aik shajar” that targets 10,000 plants, Ministry of Climate change strives further to spread awareness about the importance of trees and their impacts on environment. Parliamentary secretary for climate change Romina Khursheed Alam along with other companion officials distributed 1000 plants among the students of F-7/2 College for Girls.

On the occasion she emphasized the importance of awareness among the girls to provide society with more sensible, responsible and greenery loving women. She also brought to surface the importance of learning for girls and their key role in raising a sensible, nature loving and sustainability oriented citizens. Speaking more, the importance of trees and their inevitable role in climate sustainability was also highlighted.
