Zone Six Blues reach semi-finals of Medi-Cam Trophy Under-19

In a thrilling turn of events at the Medicam Trophy Under-19 Inter-Zonal Cricket Tournament, Zone Six Blues secured a spot in the semi-finals with a decisive 22-run victory over Zone Three Blues. The high-stakes match, held at the KCCA Stadium on Wednesday, showcased a display of cricketing prowess, particularly thanks to Rahmatullah’s outstanding performance.

Zone Six Blues posted a competitive score of 205 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Rahmatullah’s brilliant century, which included 12 fours and two magnificent sixes, was the highlight of their innings, with Abdullah Masood contributing 32 runs. The bowling attack was led by Aman Ahmed, who took three wickets. Abdul Hadi and Tahir Shah took two wickets each, restricting Zone Three Blues to 183 runs. Aman Ahmed top-scored with 47 runs, while Muhammad Saqlain and Shehryar Asif scored 44 and 32 runs, respectively. Rahmatullah’s outstanding innings earned him the Medicam Man of the Match award.
