QUETTA:Zulekha Aziz Mandokhail, General Secretary, Balochistan Darts Association (BDA), said Saturday that the point of view of BDA, a registered sports association is with Balochistan Sports Board, Quetta, with regard to ongoing strike of doctor was not to bring a bad name to anyone.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, she said that powers conferred upon Minister Health, Balochistan, Syed Ehsan Shah to order for initiating disciplinary proceedings against the employees of Health Department defying rules in vogue requires immediate action.

“People coming for healthcare facilities in government hospitals of the province, particularly Quetta and its surrounding areas, are facing severe hardships”, said Mandokhail, adding that the issue requires immediate steps purely on humanitarian grounds so as to alleviate the sufferings of common people.

She called on Minister for Health, Syed Ehsan Shah, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Mathar Niaz Rana (NSC) and Nur-ul-Haq Baloch, Secretary, Health Department, Government of Balochistan to provide healthcare facilities to all government hospitals of Balochistan province besides tackling other affairs of health sector of the province that have added to the miseries of patients of far flung areas of Balochistan province.
