ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has started receiving nomination papers for the first phase of local government (LG) elections in Sindh province.

According to the Election Commission, the nomination papers will be received till Friday. In the first phase, local government elections will be held in fourteen districts of the province on June 26. The second phase of local bodies’ elections in sixteen districts of Sindh will be held on July 24.
