QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Mohammad Khan Achakzai has said that making mother languages s medium of learning not only understanding among children can be increased but their research and creative abilities can also be shined.
He said this in his message on Mother languages Day.
Governor said that acquiring education in mother languages is basic right of human and UN Charter and Constitution of Pakistan also guarantee this.
He said efforts of all poets, writers and intellectuals for promotion and development of mother languages are praise worthy who rendered valuable services in this regard despite lack of facilities.
He said mother language is national identity and expression of civilization, living and culture. This day is observed on February 21 which would have positive impacts of promotion of mother languages.
He said former provincial government has taken revolutionary decision of making this part of curriculum. It would help children understand things.
