ISLAMABAD:Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid has said that government is paying attention to provide basic health facilities to rural health units across the province.
She was chairing a meeting to review the monthly performance of public hospitals of the province under health reform roadmap.
The Minister said that healthcare facilities are being improved in public hospitals. She also expressed satisfaction over the provision of medicines to patients in public hospitals.
She announced that training courses will be conducted for lady health workers.
Dr Yasmin Rashid directed Medical Superintendents of the hospitals to review facilities in emergency room, labour room, out-door and in other departments. She warned no negligence will be tolerated regarding child mother healthcare.
