ISLAMABAD:In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has welcomed the acquittal of four Kashmiri prisoners after 23 years.
An Indian court ordered the release of four Kashmiris, who remained illegally detained in New Delhi’s Tihar jail for the past 23 years.
Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement in Srinagar said, “It gives us an idea about the working of the judiciary and their bias against Kashmiris.”
Ashraf Sehrai said, “Although an impartial judiciary is considered as a main pillar of democracy. However, while dealing with Kashmiri prisoners their partial approach has put a question mark on its credibility.
