Shikarpur:As many as 14 students of Government Primary Girls School Hathi-Gate Shikarpur were injured when old school wall collapsed upon them during recess/break time here on Saturday.
Among others, Mudasir, Mubashir, Muzamil, Shabir, Tahir, Afaque Ahmed, Abdul Wahab, Sahil and others were injured who were sent to Civil Hospital Shikarpur for medical treatment.
Provincial Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh visited the Civil Hospital to meet the injured students and asked the duty doctors to provide better medical treatment to the injured students.
The Minister assured to take action against the Education concerned authorities who failed to get the school building repaired.
Head Mistress of Government Girls Primary School Hathi-Gate said that there are three schools working in one school building including Government Girls Primary School Hathi-Gate, Government Girls School Sukpul and Government Boys School Hathidar Shikarpur in which about 2000 girl and boy students are enrolled.
