KARACHI:First Junior Command course certificate distribution ceremony of Sindh police held at Central Police office Karachi on Wednesday.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Syed Kaleem Imam attended the ceremony as the chief guest, and distributed certificates among 28 officers who participated in the three month course and promoted SP ranks.
In his speech the IGP gave guidance to all the officers as well congratulated them. The IGP advised the officers to maintain this standard of professionalism to win the hearts of the people through public service.
He said police department is responsible to provide safety and security to the lives and property of the people so the officers and officials should do their duty of public service with great vigour and continue taking actions against antisocial elements with the help of law abiding citizens.
He further said all issues of policemen would be resolved on merit, adding that police department is papering a comprehensive Policy to promoting lower ranks officers.
